Summary of Practice
Huiwon Kim is a partner in the firm's patent department, where his practice focuses on patent prosecution, infringement and validity opinions related to mechanical, automobiles, and metallurgy. He also provides services in the areas of licensing, IP due diligence, management of IP rights and commercial contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kim was in-house counsel for Saint-Gobain and Lotte Energy Material Corp., and is the co-author of three publications relating to the topic of "Structural Dynamic Stability involving a Thrust."
Mr. Kim was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2011, is a member of the Korea Patent Attorneys Association, and is well-versed in Korean, English and Japanese.
