Tae-Yoon Kim is Of Counsel to the firm's trademark department, where his expertise lies in opposition, cancellation and invalidation matters before the Appeal Board and Courts of Law.

Mr. Kim originally started his career as a public servant after passing the High-Level Public Servant Examination, and after ten years in different administrative positions, began his IP career at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), where he attained the position of Chief Trial Examiner of the Intellectual Property Tribunal.

Mr. Kim currently teaches part-time at the Graduate School of Patent Law Affairs at Yonsei University.
