Kieok Jeon is a member of the firm's patent department, where his practice focuses on patent prosecution and appeals related to electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.

Dr. Jeon received his bachelor's degree, master's degree, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the renowned Seoul National University. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Jeon served at the Ministry of Intellectual Property Office (formerly, the Korean Intellectual Property Office) and the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency (KOIPA) handling patent examination and trial proceedings in his primary fields. He was also a Patent Investigator at the Supreme Court of Korea, where he analyzed a broad spectrum of patent litigation matters and provided comprehensive research and advisory reports. Having also gained international experience through his professional training at Fish & Richardson P.C., one of the leading U.S. law firms specializing in patent litigation, he leverages his deep expertise of patent information to provide clients with practical and strategic guidance throughout the entire innovation lifecycle, from research and development to commercialization and dispute resolution.

Additionally, Dr. Jeon is the author of numerous books and articles focusing on patent drafting, effective strategies for patent appeals and trials, and litigation approaches for enforcing patent rights.

Dr. Jeon was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Korea Patent Attorneys Association.
